53-year-old Dallas man is accused of robbing banks in Arlington, DeSoto, Lewisville, University Park and Sulphur Springs, police

Dallas, Texas – North Texas law enforcement agencies confirmed that a Dallas man accused of robbing several banks in the North Texas area has been arrested and charged.

According to the information given by the investigators, the 53-year-old Mark Robert Disch is accused of robbing at least five banks in the North Texas area. Per the investigators, Disch has been robbing banks in Arlington, DeSoto, Lewisville, University Park, and Sulphur Springs.

The investigators managed to identify Disch after carefully reviewing surveillance cameras, but also used bank records to track him down, spoke with witnesses who had been at the crime scenes when these incidents took place, and other evidence that put him at the crime scenes.

All of the robberies happened in the period from late May to late June of this year.

Disch might spend a maximum of 20 years in prison if convicted.

Local authorities didn’t immediately provide more details about the incidents.
